The Corporation of the City of Orillia has an opening for a permanent part-time position of Meter Repair/Coin Collection Technician in the Development Services and Engineering Department for up to 24 hours per week.
- Collection of parking and transit revenue.
- Maintenance and repair of parking meters and pay and display machines.
- Purchasing parking equipment and supplies.
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and an ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all seasons.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and public relation skills.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours as needed. A valid Class ‘G’ Ontario driver’s licence and the use of a reliable vehicle are required for this position. An acceptable Criminal Record Check is required prior to the contract commencement date at the incumbent’s expense.
Compensation for this position is $19.06 per hour. Applications will be accepted until October 27, 2020 at noon.
